The 2008 METS Report of Ma Foi, one of India’s largest HR consultancy firms, states that there will be a 7.3% growth in recruitment in the IT industry, and 7.2% growth in IT Enabled Services (ITES), this year. More than 30% of this demand will be for freshers.
While this is great news for anyone wishing to make a career in IT, it is equally important to note that companies only hire freshers with the right set of IT and soft skills. |
