| Aptech has been conferred the Global Registered Education Provider (REP) status by Project Management Institute (PMI), USA. The global training solutions provider will now offer PMI-recognised project management training and professional services to Project Management Professionals (PMP) across the globe. The plan is to train 5,000 PMPs during 2008.
The PMI REP programme is recognised as the premier comprehensive continuing education programme related to the field of project management. Organisations worldwide want to train and certify their project managers to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
According to a CertCities.com annual reader survey (2006), the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential has been ranked among the ‘10 Hottest IT Certifications’ for the third consecutive year among IT professionals. Certification Magazine’s annual salary survey for 2006 states that Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential holders earn the highest salaries among all IT workers who hold professional certifications.
Aptech will offer the course in two modes: Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Distance Learning Mode. With PMP-certified project managers and qualified trainers, Aptech extends its support and services to those seeking PMP certifications. The course will run over a span of five days, to be followed by an internal assessment. On successful completion, the participant will be granted 35 PDUs required by PMI for the PMP certification.
